At Geelong Grammar School we have been educating young people for nearly 150 years.

Founded in 1855 and coeducational since 1971, our school offers outstanding educational experience across four campuses, beginning with our Early Learning Centres, through to Year 9 at our Timbertop campus in the Victorian Highlands and beyond to Year 12. Our students are boarders and day pupils; they come to us from city and country Victoria, from interstate and overseas.

Sport at Geelong Grammar School is about energy, physical condition and moulding character, about building friendships and creating teamwork. Sport helps our children take a challenging route – and succeed.

Our students are part of a team. They encounter challenges, work together to overcome obstacles and accept judgement, learn to manage the disappointment of defeat and share the joys of successes.

We want them to discover what they are good at and what they love. We want them to learn that hard work brings rewards, that commitment enriches everything they do.

We ask them to achieve their best work in the classroom. We encourage them to develop a passion for sports and for the arts. We help them contribute productively to the community through service.

We work alongside them to build strong friendships. We believe in their minds and their imagination, in their spirit and their energy.

We are committed to an exceptional education within the Anglican tradition and we ask each of our young men and women to have high hopes and dreams.

We measure our achievement through theirs.

If you would like further information about the exceptional education offered by Geelong Grammar School, please contact: Angela Mellier, Admissions Registrar, on tel: (03) 5273 9307 or
