$5
MILLION CLUBHOUSE PROVIDES VINTAGE VIEWS
Visitors
to the recently opened The Vintage Golf Club in the Hunter Valley
will not only have the opportunity to play the spectacular Greg Norman-designed
golf course, but also enjoy the world-class facilities of the Club’s
$5 million clubhouse.
Inspired by the picturesque surroundings of the Hunter
Valley and Greg Norman’s layout, architects Ainsley Bell &
Murchison set out to design one of Australia’s most stunning
clubhouse facilities.
Overlooking the 18th green, the 2,000-m2 clubhouse
features sandstone and timber, re-interpreting the ‘Old Hunter
Style’. Externally it features a stone base complimented by
rendered walls and multi-level roof forms.
The Vintage Golf Club General Manager Keith Russell
said the clubhouse ensures that visitors to The Vintage will receive
the highest quality golfing experience.
“The clubhouse is a perfect complement to the
Greg Norman-designed course, providing sweeping views of the course
and the surrounding vineyards,” Mr Russell said.
“From the fully stocked Golf Shop to the fine
a la carte dining of Aprés Restaurant, the clubhouse provides
a level of facilities unmatched in New South Wales,” Mr Russell
said.
Clubhouse facilities include:
- Members’ Lounge
- Spike Bar
- Après Restaurant
- Function room
- Fully stocked Golf Shop (with basement car park for 70 carts)
- Private lockers and change rooms complete with showers
- Administration area
- Residential sales information
- Outdoor bar and terrace (offering spectacular views of the
course and mountain ranges)
- Golf cart assembly area
- Bag drop area.
The Vintage is a joint venture between Medallist Developments
- a joint venture between Macquarie Bank of Australia and Greg Norman’s
Great White Shark Enterprises - and The Stevens Group, a Central
Coast based property group specialising in quality commercial and
residential developments.
