The Finance and Treasury Association (FTA) is a non-profit association whose members are representing financial risk management professionals. Members of the FTA are in senior finance and treasury roles in corporations and financial institutions. Representative job titles include: Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Treasurer, General Manager-Treasury, Finance Director, Finance Controller, Executive Director, Finance Manager-International, Company Secretary, Group Chief Accountant, Consultant, Dealer.

Members organise activities locally, usually via a Chapter structure, with support from FTA staff. In addition, the FTA offers education and career pathways with post-graduate Certificates and a Diploma leading to an MBA with Deakin University. FTA’s professional development program includes regular workshops, specialist conferences, including online learning . Its premier event is its annual Congress and exhibition, held 2003 in 17-19 in Adelaide, South Australia. Non-members are welcome and FTA offers a special membership rate if you also register for Congress.

Members access information about technical matters, Chapter functions and other events from the Association’s password-protected website www.finance-treasury.com. Members receive publications such as technical updates, the Association’s journal The Finance and Treasury Professional, a Yearbook and research reports about finance, treasury and risk management practices. Submissions are also made to governments and regulatory authorities.
