RBCA membership is free

Companies can register online via www.austrade.gov.au/rugby,by telephoning Austrade on 13 28 78 (Australia only) or emailing info@austrade.gov.au.

Completing the online form takes only a minute or two, and you are then instantly registered as an RBCA member. This gives you access to up-to-date news and information on Club activities, including international and domestic events being hosted by the Club, plus online event registration and access to business matching services and virtual networking opportunities at these events.

The RBCA website also provides personal profiles of RBCA’s Business Ambassadors, and of guest speakers at Club events.

Steve Wright, Director of Business Development at Perth-based Globe Software, fits the ideal RBCA member profile. Steve’s firm is a business solutions (software) company currently developing and exporting software to Europe, Scandinavia, Asia, the US and (of course) New Zealand.

After learning of RBCA from Austrade’s website, Steve was encouraged to sign on as a member because the program touches on his two great interests – pleasure, in the form of Rugby (Steve is a Kiwi), and business, in the form of exporting.

“My key expectation of the Club is that it will present opportunities for networking, knowing that members have a common interest,” he says. “I plan to attend events based in Perth and am interested in meeting other Australian exporters.”
