Fremantle

The vibrant and colourful city of Fremantle is located at the mouth of the Swan River, just 25 minutes from Perth. It’s a major destination for travellers from all over the world, with its rich cultural diversity, fine and ‘al fresco’ dining, art, museums, beaches and sunshine.

South West

As you head south down the coast from Fremantle, the South West pocket of Western Australia offers some of the state’s most varied travel experiences. Margaret River and its surrounds are a popular destination for world-class wineries, top surfing and family holidays. Albany has a museum devoted to its whaling history, while today eco-friendly tours take visitors on whale-watching boat trips along much of the coast.

Towering forests are a hallmark of the South West. Walpole is home to the Valley Of The Giants Tree-Top Walk 40 metres above the forest floor; it also offers eco-cruising around the stunning Nornalup Inlet.
