Ningaloo Reef

Ningaloo Reef

The Coral Coast is a treasure trove of exotic beaches, marine life and stunningly blue ocean. Swim with the world’s largest fish – the whale shark – or snorkel from the beach at Ningaloo Reef (above). Meet dolphins at Monkey Mia, and take in the unique Pinnacles (pictured right).
Geraldton is a thriving Coral Coast port community 450 kilometres north of Perth. It’s a paradise for windsurfers, and for divers, who can enjoy shipwrecks and marine life in clean clear water.
Geraldton’s hinterland is just as beautiful, particularly its springtime wildflower displays (below right). ‘Outback Pathways’ offer easy self-drive trails through vast stretches of brilliant blooms.
Visit Central Greenough Hamlet, a compelling collection of buildings from our early Australian ‘pioneer’ history. Visitors looking for an Indigenous experience can head to Gunnadoo Farm, near Walkaway, an adventurous initiative of the local Aboriginal people offering an insight to their rich culture.
