This region in Western Australia follows the coast from Cervantes, just 245km north of Perth through to Exmouth and includes some of the state’s best natural wonders.

Inland is spectacular in the springtime from July to November, as blankets of wildflowers carpet the countryside in one of nature’s most dazzling displays.
The town of Kalbarri located at the mouth of the picturesque Murchison River, has magnificent coastal gorges to the south and stunning inland river gorges nearby. It too is renowned for its amazing wildflower displays, as well as a host of adventure activities.
If it’s marine wildlife you’re looking for then a visit to the Shark Bay World Heritage area is a must. See the world famous friendly dolphins of Monkey Mia, experience one of the world’s biggest populations of dugongs and see manta rays, sharks, turtles and sea snakes from the complete safety of your boat.
The spectacular marine life continues as you head north to Coral Bay and Exmouth. These coastal towns are gateways to the incredible Ningaloo reef. The reef’s dazzling coral gardens start just metres from the shore and harbour some of the ocean’s most amazing creatures.
It is here you can swim with the world’s largest fish, the whale shark – the gentle giant of the deep - and view coral and fish life as you’ve never seen before.
