Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and regional centres all boast superb shopping, including bustling markets, special duty-free outlets for visitors, and factory-direct discount clothing warehouses for big savings on famous brands.

Gemstones are one of Australia’s greatest shopping attractions. Take Australia’s unique pink diamonds. The Argyle Mine in North-West Australia is the world’s only reliable source of ‘pinks’ – the world’s rarest and most valuable diamonds.
Pinks are only a tiny proportion of the mine’s production – a fraction of one percent – and there is no guarantee how long Mother Nature will continue to provide these precious gifts. The pink diamonds of India, Brazil and Africa are characteristically lighter in colour – and they pale even further when placed beside the intensely pink Argyle diamonds.
Australian pinks range from delicate pastel rose to full-bodied purplish-red. Stones are polished in a wide range of cuts, such as round brilliant, marquise, oval and pear.
