Down Underwater

Australia is blessed with incredible underwater worlds. Most famous is the Great Barrier Reef, stretching more than 2000 kilometres along the Queensland coast with the most diverse ecosystems on earth. Our second largest marine park is Western Australia’s Ningaloo Reef, covering 5000 square kilometres of ocean and famous for its (friendly) whale sharks.

At nearby Monkey Mia you can handfeed the wild dolphins. Everywhere you’ll find qualified dive instructors that can lead tours or introduce first-time divers to the mysteries of the deep.
