Australian Tour Specialists was established in 1997 in Cairns to offer a wide range of options for Japanese tourists and to assist them to find the right tours and accommodations at the local price.
We promote our services via our many web sites.
We began with only 3 staff, but have now grown steadily through recent economic difficulties. Last financial year, we handled more than 6,500 bookings and had sales 30 times larger than our first year. Now our head office is on the Gold Coast with branches in Cairns and Perth. And this year our Tokyo office has been opened as a marketing and promotional base in Japan. Australian Tour Specialists now has 15 staff.
We are extremely proud of our original and accurate local information and ability to service every customer’s individual needs. We offer a wide range of products that vary from Resorts and Hotels to Educational programs and program for seniors, from Train travel to scuba diving and all types of adventure tours!!!
Our web sites now receive in excess of 10,000 visitors per day.
Australian Tour Specialists also provides a service to Australian suppliers who are interested in targeting Japanese consumers on-line. We will create a mirror image site of your English web page and translate it into Japanese. We will then ensure it gets major exposure through the many search engines and will service all inquiries and bookings that are generated. Some of our partners include Great Southern Railway, Adventure Tours Australia, Orpheus Island, Daintree Eco Lodge and Taka Dive.
We will continue to offer unique products to our Japanese customers and will continue to listen to their thoughts and views regarding travel to Australia.
