In the 1990s, SigNav was devoted primarily to the development of GPS receivers, Dead Reckoning units, GPS / DR firmware and reverse DGPS software ced dispatch and security systems. Recently, SigNav has developed a new business model with new products aimed squarely at the wireless location market. AGPS for cell phones and the subATTO™ Semi-Autonomous Indoor GPS Firmware is our flagship product and is protected by a series of patent applications built on top of the existing 1991 Open Loop GPS Signal Processing patent.

SigNav partnered Zarlink PLC in 1999 and provides reference hardware designs, firmware and development kits to Zarlink's customers worldwide. In 2002 SigNav licensed its firmware to u-Nav Microelectronics Inc for specific AGPS applications and that relationship is now being broadened. Also in 2002 SigNav signed another licensee developing a novel GPS chipset product using SigNav firmware and IP.
