Welcome to Coffs Harbour and CHEC

Coffs Harbour Education Campus (CHEC) English Language Centre, is situated on a multi-sectored campus. The Campus at Coffs Harbour is located in beautiful, spacious grounds and surrounded by the Australian bush.

The CHEC English Language Centre offers students a variety of government accredited courses with professional teachers and the most modern equipment available. Students attend classes for 25 hours each week, which include face to face classes with a maximum of 16 students per class (average class size is 12), CAL (computer assisted learning with the newest software), Self Access (self directed learning with tutors) as well as school excursions.

Coffs Harbour is a premier tourist resort on the north coast of NSW and the climate is one of the mildest in the world. The friendliness of the town and its wonderful facilities has contributed to Coffs Harbour winning the prestigious International Bloom Award as the best place in the world to live in its population category. Buses run every 30 minutes from the Coffs City Centre to the campus and every twenty minutes from the southern beaches area.

CHEC English Language Centre is government accredited under NEAS (National ELICOS Accreditation Scheme). This means it is recognized as having the highest standards demanded by the Australian Government for an international teaching institution.
