Extensive experience
Although Korea is a peninsula and the shipping industry in Korea has been in existence for some time, the concepts of modern admiralty and maritime law are fairly new to Korea. Kim, Shin & Yu has been a pioneer in this field and has played an active role in the development of maritime law in Korea. The firm is particularly active in the full range of maritime claims including casualty loss, cargo, contract disputes, personal injury and death at sea, pollution, ship arrest, and towage and salvage.
